| Plan of Salvation |
 |
One of the most important things you can do in your life is to establish a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, in which He is your personal Lord and Saviour, and you are His trusting follower.
If you are ready to accept Jesus now, call on Him and ask to receive His gift of eternal life. For the Bible says,
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:9-13)
You can say this simple prayer with the sincere desire heart to accept Jesus.
"Lord Jesus Christ, I know I am a sinner and do not deserve eternal life. But, I believe You died and rose from the grave to secure a place in heaven for me. Lord Jesus, come into my life; take control of my life; forgive my sins and save me. I repent of my sins and now place my trust in You for my salvation. I accept the free gift of eternal life."

Everyone has sinned. All of us are born sinful and commit acts of sin everyday. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
Because of our sin, we deserve death in Hell. God is holy and cannot allow sin into Heaven. The punishment for our sin is death (separation from God) in Hell forever. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
We cannot save ourselves. Christ is the only One who can save us from our sin. Nothing we do can ever save us. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Christ died to take the punishment for our sin. Christ's death on the cross paid the penalty for our sin. He took our punishment for us. "But God commandeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
Salvation is a free gift that we receive by trusting Christ as our personal Savior. We must personally trust Christ as our Savior and accept His death on the cross as the payment for our sin in order to be save. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) |
