Church Operations work to win souls for Christ by making worship services accessible and creating a spiritual environment conducive to worship. The Audio Ministry, Visual Ministry, Trustee Ministry, Transportation Ministry, Nutrition Services Ministry, Technology Ministry, and Custodian/Security/Maintenance Ministry comprise Church Operations.
Trustees Ministry
The Trustee Ministry handles the business and financial affairs of the church. The ministry is responsible for receiving and accurately accounting for all financial and tangible gifts, and ensuring that all financial obligations of the church are met in a timely manner.

Nutrition Services Ministry
One of the major roles of the Nutrition Services Ministry is to provide meals for our church family. We use food as a vehicle to feed God's Kingdom by providing excellence in quality and service to all we serve and demonstrate Christian service according to Colossians 3:23: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men", and to encourage our team members and volunteers to full devotion to Christ. There are many opportunities for service.
Whether the events are large or small, elegant or simple, the Nutrition Services Ministry prepares and serves delicious food with the help of kitchen staff and volunteers. We prepare food for events such as special programs, Summer Enrichment, banquets, lunches, receptions, and meals for outside organizations.
We hope you will join us for Fellowship Dinners each Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:35 p.m. in the fellowship hall. The donation for adults is $5 and $2 for children. There are no reservations required. |
Audio Ministry
The purpose of the Audio Ministry is to help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. We offer the word of God, given through our very own Pastor, on cassettes and CDs. We minister to the sick and shut-in by providing free cassettes of Sunday services. Also, this ministry supports various events held at our church that need audio assistance. We give hands-on training to anyone who is fully committed to helping to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, interested in being sound technician, equipped to handle challenges, and wants to grow higher in the Lord-- we encourage you to to join this ministry.
Visual Ministry
The Visual Ministry is responsible for operation of the audio equipment in the church during worship services and special programs. The purpose this ministry is to help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. We give hands-on training to anyone who is fully committed to helping to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, interested in being video technician, equipped to handle challenges, and wants to grow higher in the Lord-- we encourage you to to join this ministry.
Technology Ministry
The Technology Ministry provides guidance, oversight, support, and expertise on technology related issues. Our mission is to assess the computer needs of the church and give recommendations on the use and purchase of computer equipment and software. This ministry also supports individual needs of ministries and member by offering graphic design, database management, word processing, desktop publication, presentation development, web support, and training.
Meeting Date: Every month on the Second Monday at 6:00pm.
Custodian / Security / Maintenance Facility Services
This ministry is committed to enhance and maintain the church building and provide clean, safe, and sanitary conditions for everyone to worship. This ministry offers efficient and effective cleaning, maintenance, and security service within the church building on a daily basis. Services such as building maintenance, floor care, carpet shampooing, janitorial service, and facility setup are provided.

To provide safe transportation in a spiritual environment to church affiliated services and/or functions to members of the Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church Family. |
