All of our events and programs are open to the public. We welcome you to visit us and attend any event. If you would like for us to notify our members or community about an event, please contact the Church Administrative Secretary or the Publicity Ministry.

The GWB Nutrition Ministry Menu for Wednesday, Sept. 8th is turkey wings, rice pilaf, garden salad, seafood pasta salad, rolls, homemade cake, and lemonade. The dinner is from 5:30-6:30pm. Cost: $5.00/adults & $4.00/children 12 & under. The Nutrition Ministry thanks you for your support.
The Angel Food Menu for September is now available. The last day to order is Sept.12th. Distribution Day is Saturday, Sept.18th. Please pick up a flyer from the foyer or the fellowship hall.
The GWBBC Christian Education Department will celebrate its Annual CED Appreciation Day on Sunday, Sept. 12th at 10:45am. The speaker will be Rev. Sherry Hunter of Laura Grove Missionary Bapt. Church in Clarks Hill, S.C. Everyone is invited to this celebration.
The GWB Community Development Corporation in conjunction with Columbia County Cares Food Bank will hold its Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, Sept.13th at Bartram Trail Golf Club in Evans, GA. Please click on Golf Outing from the left-side menu for full details.
The GWBBC Annual Health Fair will be held Saturday, Sept. 18th from 9am to 1pm. Vendors are needed in health, beauty products, assistance for seniors or children, exercise, diet information & any other services provided to the community. All interested vendors should contact the church secretary for more information.
Educational Enhancement Services Offered
The GWB Tutoring and Enrichment Sessions have started. Please bring your children who need assistance. Tutoring and Enrichment starts at 5:30pm each Wednesday and ends at 7:15pm. We are proud to offer these services; they will include homework help, study skills, and test prep exercises. Also, one on one tutoring can be arranged if needed. Volunteers are needed and welcomed. If you are interested, please call the church office or contact us.
Gospel Water Branch CDC Cookbooks Available for Purchase
There are a few Gospel Water Branch CDC Cookbooks available for purchase. The cookbooks are only $10. All proceeds will help fund the GWBBC Vision for the community. Please contact us to purchase your copy of this treasured cookbook of recipes from church members and friends.
GWBBC Bookstore and Resource Center is Open for Business!!
The GWB Bookstore is now selling products from African American Expressions. Journals, bible covers, handmade cards, and much more! Of course, we still are selling books to renew and refresh your spirit.
Stop by the GWB Bookstore today! We have books starting as low as $5 that are sure to uplift your spirit or someone you know. The bookstore hours of operation are Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm, Saturday from 10:30am to 12 noon, and Sunday from 9:30am to 11:00am and 12:30pm to 1:15pm. Anyone interested in volunteering to work at the bookstore should contact the church secretary or Erika Harmon at 706-664-7280.
