GWB Girl Scout Troop 704 Taking Orders for Girl Scout Cookies

There are two new flavors, Thank U Berry and Dulce De Leche, for your enjoyment. Each box is $3.50. If you are interested in placing an order, please stop by or call the church office.

Youth Leadership Classes Held on March 6 & March 13 from 9am to 12noon - Open to Public

Youth Leadership Classes for youth ages 12-18 are coming March 6th and 13th from 9am to 12noon with an outreach on March 20th. Registration will be held at 8:45am each Saturday. There will be various community speakers on topics such as gang violence, drugs, career planning/scholarships, sexuality, conflict resolution, financial budgeting and more. Refreshments will be served. If you would like for your child to attend or have questions about this event, please contact the church office.

Youth Lock-In - Friday, March 19^th from 7:00pm to Saturday, March 20^th at 8:00am -at GWBBC

Join us for a fun filled night of games, movies, and fellowship, strictly for the Youth. Bring your sleeping bag, pillow, overnight toiletry items, pajamas, and a change of clothing. Activities: games, movies, a surprise guest speaker and lots of fun. To participate, please call the church office.

Urban Ministries Invites You to a Vacation Bible School Workshop on Saturday, March 20 at 9am to 12noon

Urban Ministries Inc. invites you to a free workshop to introduce their Vacation Bible School Program for 2010. The workshop will be held at Gospel Water Branch on March 20th from 9am to 12noon. Trip to See the Passion Play in Atlanta on Saturday, March 27, 2010
The Sisterhood Ministry of GWBBC is planning a trip to see the Passion Play in Atlanta, GA on Saturday, March 27th. The cost of the ticket is $20. The trip is open to anyone over the age of 12. To participate in this trip, please stop by or call the church office.

Educational Enhancement Services Offered
The GWB Tutoring and Enrichment Sessions have started. Please bring your children who need assistance. Tutoring and Enrichment starts at 5:30pm each Wednesday and ends at 7:15pm. We are proud to offer these services; they will include homework help, study skills, and test prep exercises. Also, one on one tutoring can be arranged if needed. Volunteers are needed and welcomed. If you are interested, please call the church office or contact us.

Gospel Water Branch CDC Cookbooks Available for Purchase
There are a few Gospel Water Branch CDC Cookbooks available for purchase. The cookbooks are only $10. All proceeds will help fund the GWBBC Vision for the community. Please contact us to purchase your copy of this treasured cookbook of recipes from church members and friends.

GWBBC Bookstore and Resource Center is Open for Business!!

Are you searching for the perfect gift but don't know what to buy? Then stop by the GWB Bookstore today! We have books starting as low as $5 that are sure to uplift your spirit or someone you know. The bookstore hours of operation are Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm, Saturday from 10:30am to 12 noon, and Sunday from 9:30am to 11:00am and 12:30pm to 1:15pm. Anyone interested in volunteering to work at the bookstore should contact the church secretary or Erika Harmon at 706-664-7280.
