Christian Education

The Christian Education Ministry has the responsibility to foster the teachings of Jesus and proclaim the gospel of the coming of the kingdom. It seeks to guide believers into discipleship, as a means of instructing them in the nature of the gospel.

Meeting Date: Every month on the Fourth Saturday at 8:00am.

Sunday School

The Sunday School Ministry endeavors to obey the Lord in providing a caring, quality, holistic ministry for its congregation. Its ministry will teach God's people the truth; instruct them in the right way - - God's way; provide students with knowledge and training equipping them with the essentials needed to also teach others.

  • Adult I Class (34-45)

Bible Study

Bible Study is way for us to obtain knowledge, confront everyday tests we experience in the life, or even prepare for ministry.  But the real purpose is for us to be with God. It is through the Bible Study that we can have communion and intimacy with Him and remain in Him.

In Christ's three-year public ministry on earth, He often stated that His goal was to teach His disciples about His Father. Christ wanted us to know that God is alive, real, sovereign, loving, and is preparing a place for His believers in heaven.  In Philippians 1:9, Paul said, "And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight." As we grow to know God, we yearn to know His power and to experience it at work in our lives. We long to feel His presence more closely and fully than we have experienced previously. We yearn to understand and grow in God's grace.

Let Bible Study help you to learn and know the heart of God, and grow in your relationship with Him.

To read detailed information about each Bible Study class, see our Bible Study Class Schedule for more information.

Vacation Bible School

The Vacation Bible School is conducted during vacation time. Its purpose is to:

  • Reach and Involve Individuals
  • Teach the Bible
  • Allow Believers to Worship
  • Develop Skills Needed for Christian Living and Witnessing
  • Provide Methods to Apply Christian Principles in Every Area of Life
  • Help Believers Recognize and Respond to the Will of God in All Decisions

New Converts Class

In order to survive today, new believers will need to be taught to know and apply the Word of God, or they will be deceived and drawn away from the faith. God's Word is their foundation and their compass. Bible reading, Bible explanation, and Bible study are all necessary for a child of God to breathe spiritually and grow spiritually.  If new believers are to live by faith, it takes a conscious effort on the part of the spiritually responsible to show them how to live by faith rather than by their senses.

This class provides instruction to help new Christians understand a few basics about Christianity such as the difference between relationship and fellowship; confession and cleansing of sin; faith, works and rewards; and how to be filled with the Spirit and to walk in the Spirit.  It is a way to do immediate follow-up with the new believer in prayer, Bible study, and other growth opportunities. The informal, relaxed, small group classroom setting encourages fellowship and builds friendships.

Discipleship Class

The Christian Discipleship class helps believers to become like Christ. It is a a training or mentoring class designed to develop individuals to become more like their Savior. This class also allows Christians to learn about God by growing in knowledge about Him and bear fruit for the kingdom of God.

"When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, 'I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life'" (John 8:12). Then in Matthew 5:14-16 Jesus says, "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." We are commanded to take the light we are given and spread it around the world to others so that they may see Christ and receive Him for themselves.
